“Premium” defined. “Premium” means the consideration for insurance, by whatever name called. The term includes any “assessment,” or any “membership,” “policy,” “survey,” “inspection,” “service” or similar fee or other charge assessed or collected by the insurer or his agent in consideration for an insurance contract or its procurement.
