Designation of acting Commissioner; powers and duties of deputies; restrictions on other employment of deputies.
1. The Director of the Department of Business and Industry shall designate an acting Commissioner when the Office of Commissioner is vacant or when the Commissioner is unable to perform his duties because of mental or physical disability.
2. The Commissioner shall designate one of his deputies to serve as acting Commissioner in the Commissioner’s absence.
3. The deputies have such powers and duties as the Commissioner delegates and assigns to them.
4. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 284.143, the deputies shall devote their full time to the Division.
