Nevada Revised Statutes Section 679B.160 - Insurance

Advisory councils.

1. The Commissioner may create advisory councils and committees to assist him in dealing with regulatory problems. He may appoint members and may provide by rule for the creation, governance, duties and termination of any council or committee he establishes.

2. The Commissioner may create at least one advisory council to represent the consumer interest in insurance, to be made up of members with no substantial interest in any aspect of the insurance industry, except as insureds.
