Action of Board on application; notification of applicant. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]
1. The Board shall approve or disapprove each application. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 4, if the Board is satisfied that the information set forth in the application is true, and that the applicant is qualified to take the examination and has paid the examination fee, it shall approve the application.
2. If the Board approves an application, the Executive Director shall promptly notify the applicant in writing of the approval and of the time and place of the examination, if required.
3. If the Board disapproves an application, the Executive Director shall promptly notify the applicant of the disapproval, stating the reasons therefor.
4. The Board may disapprove an application for any violation of the provisions of this chapter.
