License as revocable privilege. The purpose of licensing osteopathic physicians and osteopathic physicians’ assistants is to protect the public health and safety and the general welfare of the people of this state. Any license issued pursuant to this chapter is a revocable privilege and a holder of such a license does not acquire thereby any vested right.
