Injunctive relief against person practicing without license.
1. The Board through its President or Secretary or the Attorney General may maintain in any court of competent jurisdiction a suit for an injunction against any person practicing osteopathic medicine without a license valid under this chapter.
2. Such an injunction:
(a) May be issued without proof of actual damage sustained by any person, this provision being a preventive as well as a punitive measure.
(b) Shall not relieve such person from criminal prosecution for practicing without a license.
