Nevada Revised Statutes Section 634A.167 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Requirements for renewal; duty of Board to require continuing education for renewal or reinstatement. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]

1. To renew a license issued pursuant to this chapter, each person must, on or before February 1 of each year:

(a) Apply to the Board for renewal;

(b) Pay the annual fee for a license prescribed by the Board; and

(c) Submit evidence to the Board of his completion of the requirements for continuing education.

2. The Board shall, as a prerequisite for the renewal or reinstatement of a license, require each holder of a license to comply with the requirements for continuing education adopted by the Board.
