Nevada Revised Statutes Section 637A.160 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Requirements for licensing. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]

1. Subject to the provisions of NRS 637A.170, any person who intends to commence business as a hearing aid specialist shall comply with the following requirements:

(a) Make application for examination.

(b) Take and pass the examination.

(c) Pay the prescribed fees, including the annual license fee and the initial license fee prescribed in NRS 637A.210.

2. The license shall be issued and delivered by the Secretary to the licensee therein named upon compliance by the licensee with the requirements prescribed in subsection 1.
