Expiration and renewal of licenses. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]
1. Licenses expire on June 30 next following the date of issuance.
2. A licensee may have his license renewed for 1 year beginning on July 1, by:
(a) Showing that he has fulfilled any requirements established by the Board for continuing education; and
(b) Paying the annual license fee.
3. A licensee who has failed to pay the annual license fee may have his license renewed without examination within 5 years after the date of expiration by:
(a) Complying with the requirements of subsection 2; and
(b) Paying the lapsed renewal fee in addition to the annual license fee.
