Nevada Revised Statutes Section 640.260 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Issuance and display of license; fee for replacement of lost license or to change name; duration of validity of license.

1. The Board shall license as a physical therapist’s assistant each applicant who proves to the satisfaction of the Board his qualifications for a license.

2. The Board shall issue to each qualified applicant a license that authorizes the applicant to represent himself as a physical therapist’s assistant and to practice as that assistant.

3. Each physical therapist’s assistant shall display his current license in a location which is accessible to the public.

4. The Board may charge a fee, not to exceed $25, to replace a lost license or to change a name on a license.

5. A license as a physical therapist’s assistant is valid as long as a supervising physical therapist supervises the physical therapist’s assistant.
