Nevada Revised Statutes Section 640A.100 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Compensation of members; authority regarding employees; payment of expenses and salaries.

1. The members of the Board serve without compensation, except that while engaged in the business of the Board, each member is entitled to the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally.

2. The Board may employ an Executive Secretary and any other employees it deems necessary, establish their duties and fix their salaries.

3. The expenses of the Board and members of the Board, and the salaries of its employees, must be paid from the fees received by the Board pursuant to this chapter, and no part of those expenses and salaries may be paid out of the State General Fund.
