Nevada Revised Statutes Section 641.280 - Professions, Occupations and Businesses

Conduct of hearing; rights of person named in complaint; continuance.

1. The hearing of a complaint must be conducted publicly by the Board, a panel of its members or a hearing officer. The person named in the complaint may appear in person and by legal counsel, and must be given adequate opportunity to confront the witnesses against him, to testify and introduce the testimony of witnesses in his behalf, and to submit argument and brief in person or by his counsel.

2. The failure of the person named in the complaint to attend his hearing or to defend himself must not serve to delay or void the proceedings. The Board may, for good cause shown, continue any hearing from time to time.
