Penalty. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or, having had his license suspended or revoked, continues to represent himself as a marriage and family therapist shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 1 year or by a fine of not more than $5,000, or by both fine and imprisonment. Each violation is a separate offense.
