Renewal of license. [Effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]
1. If a licensee wishes to renew his license, the Board shall renew his license, except for cause, if the licensee complies with the provisions of this section.
2. The renewal fee prescribed in NRS 642.0696 is due on January 1 of each year. If the renewal fee is not paid by February 1, a fee for the late renewal of the license will be added to the renewal fee, and in no case will the fee be waived.
3. Upon receipt of the renewal fee and any fee for late renewal imposed pursuant to subsection 2, the Board shall issue a renewal certificate to the licensee.
