Nevada Revised Statutes Section 360.425 - Revenue and Taxation

Entry of judgment by county clerk; service of copy of judgment, application and certificate by Department. The county clerk, immediately upon the filing of the application and certificate pursuant to NRS 360.420, shall enter a judgment for the State of Nevada against the person liable for the payment in the amount required to be paid, together with any penalties and interest due as set forth in the certificate. The Department shall serve a copy of the judgment, together with the application and the certificate, upon the person against whom the judgment is entered, either by personal service or by mailing a copy to his last known address as it appears in the records of the Department.
