Leases for development of oil, gas and geothermal resources: Authority to lease property held in trust. Any property held in trust by any county treasurer by virtue of any deed made pursuant to the provisions of this chapter may be leased by the county for the purpose of exploration for and production of oil, gas or other hydrocarbon substances, or geothermal resources in the manner prescribed in NRS 361.607 and 361.608.
