Nevada Revised Statutes Section 482.220 - Public Safety - Vehicles - Watercraft

Application for specially constructed, reconstructed or foreign vehicle; certificate of inspection; charge for inspection.

1. If the vehicle to be registered shall be a specially constructed, reconstructed or foreign vehicle, such fact shall be stated in the application; and with reference to every foreign vehicle which has been registered theretofore outside of this State, the owner shall exhibit to the Department the certificate of title and registration card or other evidence of such former registration as may be in the applicant’s possession or control or such other evidence as will satisfy the Department that the applicant is the lawful owner or possessor of the vehicle.

2. Such application shall be accompanied by a motor vehicle inspection certificate signed by a representative of the Department or, as one of the Department’s authorized agents, by:

(a) A peace officer;

(b) A dealer;

(c) A rebuilder;

(d) An automobile wrecker; or

(e) A garageman or a service station operator or attendant, so designated in writing by the Director.

3. The Department or any of its authorized inspection agents shall be entitled to charge $1 for inspection of any such vehicle.
