Issuance of licenses which designate persons with disabilities which limit or impair ability to walk.
1. Upon the application of a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk, the Department shall place on any driver’s license issued to the person pursuant to the provisions of this chapter a designation that the person is disabled. The application must include a statement from a licensed physician certifying that the applicant is a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk.
2. For the purposes of this section, “person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.3835.
