New York Cooperative Corporations Law Section 83 - Status as profit-making corporation.

   83.  Status  as  profit-making  corporation.  Notwithstanding  any
  inconsistent provisions of this chapter, no worker cooperative shall  be
  classed as a non-profit or not-for-profit corporation.
