New York Education Law Section 2106 - Terms of officers of newly created district.

 2106. Terms of officers of newly created district.  The terms of all
  officers  other  than  trustees  elected at the first meeting of a newly
  created district  shall  expire  on  the  first  Tuesday  of  May,  next
  thereafter.
