2590-r-1. Community school district based budgeting and expenditure reporting. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, commencing with the two thousand seventeen--two thousand eighteen school year and thereafter, no fewer than fifteen days after the release of the executive budget of the city of New York by the mayor of the city of New York, the chancellor shall provide to the city council and shall make publicly available and on the district website a detailed statement of the total funding allocation for each community school district for the school budget year. After the close of the preceding fiscal year, and prior to presentation of the following year's school budget, the chancellor shall provide to the city council and shall make publicly available and on the district website a detailed statement of the total funding allocation for each community school district for the preceding school budget year. Such statements shall be in a form developed by the director of the budget.
