New York Education Law Section 8600 - Introduction.

  8600.  Introduction.  This article defines the practice of clinical
  laboratory  technology  and  provides  for  the  licensing  of  clinical
  laboratory technologists and cytotechnologists and for the certification
  of  clinical  laboratory  technicians  and histological technicians. The
  general provisions for all professions contained in article one  hundred
  thirty of this title shall apply to this article.
