New York Election Law Section 11-220 - Federal voting; applicability of general provisions.

11-220. Federal voting; applicability of general provisions. The general provisions of this chapter shall apply to this article, except as they are inconsistent herewith. The provisions of this article shall be liberally construed for the purpose of providing special federal voters the opportunity to vote. The state board of elections shall have power to adopt and promulgate regulations to effectuate the provisions of this article.
