New York Environmental Conservation Law Section 21-1503 - Commissioner and alternate.

*  21-1503. Commissioner and alternate.
The  Governor  shall be this state's member on the mid-Atlantic states
  air  pollution  control  commission.  The  Governor  shall  appoint  the
  Commissioner  of Environmental Conservation as his alternate pursuant to
  section 2.3 of article two of such compact.

     Quality Act of 1967 (81 stat. 485)
