New York General Business Law Article 29-G - RECEIPTS FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY

• 597 - Receipts for Personal Property Being Repaired, Rebuilt or Reconditioned.
  An owner, employee or person in charge of a personal service business including but not limited to laundries, dry cleaners, shoemakers, radio and television repair...
• 598 - Penalty for Violation.
  A wilfull refusal to issue such receipt when requested by said customer, shall constitute an offense punishable by a fine not to exceed twenty-five dollars.
