126. Application. For the purpose of filling vacancies occurring other than by the expiration of term in the offices of members of the senate and assembly elected at the general election in two thousand twelve, the senate and assembly districts of this state, as described and set out in a chapter of the laws of two thousand twelve as added by senate bill number 6696 or assembly bill number 9525, shall continue to be respectively, the senate districts and the assembly districts of the state.
