North Carolina General Statutes § 97-26.1 Fees for medical records and reports; expert witnesses; communications with health care providers

The Commission may establish maximum fees for the following when related to a claim under this Article: (i) the searching, handling, copying, and mailing of medical records, (ii) the preparation of medical reports and narratives, (iii) the presentation of expert testimony in a Commission proceeding, and (iv) the time spent communicating with the employer or employee pursuant to G.S. 97-25.6(i).  (1993 (Reg.
