Oregon Statutes - Chapter 127 - Powers of Attorney; Advance Directives for Health Care; Declarations for Mental Health Treatment; Death with Dignity - Section 127.707 - Execution of declaration; witnesses.

A declaration is effective only if it is signed by the principal and two competent adult witnesses. The witnesses must attest that the principal is known to them, signed the declaration in their presence and appears to be of sound mind and not under duress, fraud or undue influence. Persons specified in ORS 127.730 may not act as witnesses. [1993 c.442 §4]
