(1) Subject to the availability of funding, the State Court Administrator may establish and maintain a website for the purpose of giving legal notices pursuant to ORS 18.860 to 18.993.

(2) The State Court Administrator may establish fees for posting legal notices on a website maintained under this section. All fees collected by the State Court Administrator under this subsection shall be deposited in the Judicial Department Operating Account established under ORS 1.009.

(3) For the purpose of determining whether a legal notice has been posted for the period of time required by law, an interruption of service of a website maintained under this section that does not exceed 48 hours does not affect the continuity of the posting. An interruption of service of a website maintained under this section does not prevent the sheriff from conducting an execution sale unless the court orders otherwise. [2005 c.542 §24]
