As used in ORS 198.425 and 198.430, unless the context requires otherwise, “district officer” means a member of the governing body of a district who serves as such by virtue of election to such position. [1969 c.325 §1; 1971 c.23 §6; 1981 c.173 §2; 1983 c.83 §4]
