Oregon Statutes - Chapter 244 - Government Ethics - Section 244.110 - Statements subject to penalty for false swearing.

(1) Each statement of economic interest required to be filed under ORS 244.050, 244.060, 244.070, 244.090 or 244.100, or by rule under ORS 244.290, and each trading statement required to be filed under ORS 244.055 shall be signed and certified as true by the person required to file it and shall contain a written declaration that the statement is made under the penalties of false swearing.

(2) A person may not sign and certify a statement under subsection (1) of this section if the person knows that the statement contains information that is false.

(3) Violation of subsection (2) of this section is punishable as false swearing under ORS 162.075. [1974 c.72 §22; 1977 c.588 §5; 2007 c.865 §7]
