Oregon Statutes - Chapter 310 - Property Tax Rates and Amounts; Tax Limitations; Tax Reduction Programs - Section 310.204 - “Hospital facility” defined.

In order to determine if ad valorem property taxes are used to support a hospital facility and therefore are subject to section 11 (6), Article XI of the Oregon Constitution, the term “hospital facility” means a facility with an organized medical staff, with permanent facilities that include inpatient beds, and with medical services, including physician services and continuous nursing services under the supervision of registered nurses, providing diagnosis and medical or surgical treatment primarily for but not limited to acutely ill patients and accident victims. [1997 c.541 §266; 2005 c.94 §62]

Note: 310.204 was added to and made a part of ORS chapter 310 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
