Oregon Statutes - Chapter 342 - Teachers and Other School Personnel - Section 342.390 - Meetings; expenses.

(1) The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission shall meet at least once every six months at a place, day and hour determined by the commission. The commission shall also meet at such other times and places as are specified by the call of the chairperson or of a majority of the members of the commission.

(2) A member of the commission who is employed at a public school or by a private teacher education institution or by a state institution of higher education shall receive no compensation for services as a member; but subject to any other applicable law regulating travel and other expenses for state officers, the member shall receive actual and necessary travel and other expenses incurred in the performance of official duties as provided by ORS 292.495 (2).

(3) A member of the commission who serves on the commission in the capacity of a district school board member or as a member of the general public shall be entitled to compensation and expenses as provided in ORS 292.495 (1) and (2). [1965 c.535 §§7,8; 1991 c.662 §4; 1993 c.45 §172]
