Oregon Statutes - Chapter 366 - State Highways and State Highway Fund - Section 366.915 - Authorization to remove Crooked River Highway from state highway system and establish new route.

Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Department of Transportation may remove from the state highway system the state highway designated as the Crooked River Highway, otherwise defined as State Highway No. 14, which begins at Prineville and extends southeasterly to a connection with the Central Oregon Highway. Upon the removal of the highway from the state highway system, the department shall be under no further obligation with respect to the construction, reconstruction, maintenance or repair of the highway. Before taking such action, the department shall, in cooperation with the county court of Crook County, provide for the location of and establish as a part of the state highway system another highway between Prineville and the Central Oregon Highway.
