Oregon Statutes - Chapter 526 - Forestry Administration - Section 526.215 - State Board of Higher Education to conduct research and experimentation programs.

To aid in the economic development of the State of Oregon, the State Board of Higher Education shall institute and carry on research and experimentation to develop the maximum yield from the forestlands of Oregon, to obtain the fullest utilization of the forest resource, and to study air and water pollution as it relates to the forest products industries.
