Oregon Statutes - Chapter 59 - Securities Regulation; Mortgage Bankers and Brokers - Section 59.875 - Cancellation of license or application; application for withdrawal.

(1) If the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services finds that an applicant or licensee has ceased to do business as a mortgage banker or mortgage broker, or has failed to maintain a bond required by ORS 59.850 or is subject to an adjudication of mental incompetence or to the control of a committee, conservator or guardian, or cannot be located after reasonable search, the director may cancel the license or application.

(2) A mortgage banker or mortgage broker may withdraw a license by filing an application to withdraw. Unless the director determines that the license should be suspended or revoked, the director shall allow the withdrawal subject to any conditions, limitations and restrictions the director may impose.
