Oregon Statutes - Chapter 59 - Securities Regulation; Mortgage Bankers and Brokers - Section 59.975 - Continuing education requirements for loan originators; rules.

The Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services shall, by rule, establish continuing education requirements for persons employed by mortgage bankers or mortgage brokers as loan originators. The requirements established by the director may not be less than 10 hours every two years and not more than 20 hours every two years. The continuing education must be obtained through continuing education programs approved or provided by an organization whose continuing education curriculum and testing is certified by the director as described in ORS 59.977.
