Oregon Statutes - Chapter 607 - Livestock Districts; Stock Running at Large - Section 607.339 - Liability of department.

Except for gross negligence the State Department of Agriculture shall not be liable for the payment of the proceeds of sale or return of custody of an estray to a person claiming to be the true owner of such estray. [1953 c.367 §7]
