Oregon Statutes - Chapter 672 - Professional Engineers; Land Surveyors; Photogrammetrists; Geologists - Section 672.310 - Investigation of identity of person claiming to be registered.

The State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying may inquire into the identity of any person claiming to be a registered professional engineer or a registered professional land surveyor and, after due service of a notice in writing, require the person to prove to the satisfaction of the board that the person is the person authorized to practice engineering or land surveying, as the case may be, under the certificate of registration by virtue of which the person claims to be such a professional. When the board finds that a person making such a claim is not in fact the person to whom the certificate of registration was issued, it shall reduce its findings to writing and file them in its office. The findings are prima facie evidence that the person mentioned therein is falsely impersonating another of a like or different name. [Amended by 1971 c.751 §30]
