Oregon Statutes - Chapter 673 - Accountants; Tax Consultants and Preparers - Section 673.185 - Procedure for disciplinary actions and adoption of rules; continuing authority of board.

(1) When the Oregon Board of Accountancy proposes to refuse to issue a certificate under ORS 673.040, license under ORS 673.100, permit under ORS 673.150, registration under ORS 673.160 or authorization under ORS 673.153, proposes to refuse to renew a permit or registration or proposes to revoke or suspend a certificate, registration, license, permit or authorization, opportunity for hearing shall be accorded as provided in ORS chapter 183 and chapter 734, Oregon Laws 1971.

(2) When the board institutes or continues a disciplinary action under ORS 673.170, the surrender, retirement or other forfeiture, expiration, lapse or revocation of a license issued by the board does not deprive the board of its authority to institute or continue the disciplinary action against the licensee.

(3) Adoption of rules, conduct of hearings, issuance of orders and judicial review of rules and orders shall be in accordance with ORS chapter 183 and chapter 734, Oregon Laws 1971.

(4) The decision of the board under subsection (1) of this section shall be by majority vote. [1971 c.734 §115; 1999 c.322 §15; 2001 c.638 §9]
