No person, including an electrologist or a permanent color technician and tattoo artist, shall perform electrolysis or tattooing, display a sign or in any other way advertise or purport to be an electrologist or permanent color technician and tattoo artist unless that person holds a valid license issued by the Oregon Health Licensing Agency. However, ORS 690.350 to 690.430 do not prevent or affect the use of electrolysis or tattooing by a physician, a person under the control and supervision of a physician or any other person specifically permitted to use electrolysis or tattooing by law.
