- 13 - b. Licking County Property On May 5, 1976, Mr. Davis purchased the Licking County property. Mr. Davis partitioned the Licking County property into four parcels: (1) A 20-acre parcel that contained buildings and fences, (2) a 220-acre parcel (the 220 acres), (3) a 12.82-acre parcel, and (4) a 21.7-acre parcel. Since 1963, Juan Sotos (Dr. Sotos) has been a faculty member of the Ohio State University Medical School. Dr. Sotos specializes in pediatric endocrinology. Since this time, Dr. Sotos has been a doctor on the staff of Children's Hospital. In 1977, Dr. Sotos and his family became neighbors and friends of Mr. Davis and his family. In July or August of 1984, Arthur Krobacher (Mr. Krobacher), the president-elect of Children's Hospital's board of trustees, requested that Dr. Sotos discuss with Mr. Davis the possibility of Mr. Davis' making a donation to Children's Hospital.
