Texas Code Of Criminal Procedure § 13.34 Certain Offenses Committed Against A Child Committed To The Texas Juvenile Justice Department

Art. 13.34. CERTAIN OFFENSES COMMITTED AGAINST A CHILD COMMITTED TO THE TEXAS JUVENILE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. An offense described by Article 104.003(a) committed by an employee or officer of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department or a person providing services under a contract with the department against a child committed to the department may be prosecuted in:

(1) any county in which an element of the offense occurred; or

(2) Travis County.
