Texas Estates Code § 22.008 Devise

Sec. 22.008. DEVISE. "Devise":

(1) used as a noun, includes a testamentary disposition of real property, personal property, or both; and

(2) used as a verb, means to dispose of real property, personal property, or both, by will.
