Sec. 438.037. MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES. This subchapter does not affect the authority granted under Article XI, Section 5, of the Texas Constitution, Article 1175, Revised Statutes, Subchapter F of this chapter, and the applicable chapters of the Local Government Code to a Type A general-law municipality or a home-rule municipality to adopt an ordinance relating to this subchapter.
