Sec. 605.259. ORTHOTIC OR PROSTHETIC TECHNICIAN REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE. (a) The department may issue a registered orthotic technician or registered prosthetic technician certificate to an applicant who:
(1) submits an application in the manner and on a form prescribed by the executive director;
(2) pays the nonrefundable application fee; and
(3) presents evidence satisfactory to the department that the applicant has completed an education program and laboratory experience as prescribed by the commission by rule.
