Texas Water Code § 53.088 Status Of The District

Sec. 53.088. STATUS OF THE DISTRICT. A district is:

(1) a governmental agency;

(2) a body politic and corporate; and

(3) a defined district within the meaning of Article XVI, Section 59, of the Texas Constitution.
