§ 13.1-527.01. Severability clause
If any section, subsection, sentence, part or application of this chapter be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate any other section, subsection, sentence, part or application but shall be confined in its operation to the section, subsection, sentence, part or application directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
