§ 22.1-227.01. Career and technical education defined

As used in this article, "career and technical education" means an organized education program offering a sequence of courses that may incorporate field, laboratory, and classroom instruction; and that emphasize career and technical occupational experiences and are designed to prepare individuals for further education and gainful employment.
