§ 24.2-440. Eligibility for temporary registration by absentee application
Any person who is entitled to register to vote in federal elections under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. § 1973ff et seq.) and is not eligible for permanent voter registration pursuant to Article 4 of this chapter, shall be eligible for temporary registration under this article to vote in any federal election. Federal elections include any general, special, or primary election for President, Vice President, presidential electors, or a member of the United States Senate or House of Representatives.
